The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will offer scholarships for 2022-2023. These scholarships cover about 50% (EUR17,000.500) of the program’s total cost.

This internationally recognized program can be completed in 12 months. Fellowships are available for the top talent.

The remaining portion is to be covered by the candidate. These scholarships are available to the Sanitation profile in Water and Health. The BMGF scholarship is not available for other profiles or tracks. You, your employer, or any other sponsor can provide the matching funds. Or a combination thereof. This scholarship is especially for women.

IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (formerly UNESCO IHE Institute for Water Education) is the largest international graduate school for water education and is based out of Delft, Netherlands. Delft is a world-renowned knowledge center on water infrastructure technology and sciences that attracts top-level students from all over the world. IHE Delft collaborates with Delft (the water knowledge city) and other water-related institutes. The Institute offers fully accredited MSc and Ph.D. degrees.

  • Twenty outstanding talents will be admitted into the MSc Sanitation and awarded a scholarship.
  • The scholarship will cover 50% of the program’s total cost. Matching funds from other sources would be required for a US$20,000 ($17,500 at the moment). You, your employer, and any other sponsor can provide the matching funds.

  • Receive a provisional admission into the program
  • You have secured 50% matching funds (evidence needed).
